Oggi vi racconto la mia esperienza al Sziget festival di Budapest.
Per chi fosse all'oscuro di cosa sia, il Sziget Festival è un evento musicale che si tiene sulla Obudai-sziget ("isola della vecchia Buda"). L'isola si trova in mezzo al Danubio.
Almeno una volta nella vita bisogna andarci, è un'esperienza veramente da non perdere.
In 5 giorni di festival (essendo presenti circa 60 palchi!!!) si ha l'occasione di vedere e ascoltare decine e decine di gruppi musicali. Noi abbiamo visto i Prodigy, 30 seconds to mars, Empire of the sun, chemical brothers, good charlotte, Skunk anansie, goran bregovic, gogol bordello, judas priest, two many djs, trentemoller, verdena, la roux e tanti altri che nemmeno più mi ricordo!
Sziget Festival non è solo musica dal vivo ma anche DJ sets, teatro, proiezioni video-cinematografiche, danza, esibizioni circensi e di artisti di strada ed anche manifestazioni sportive. È un evento unico nel suo genere, dove si respira un'aria di libertà che non ho più ritrovato in nessun festival.
Ecco alcune delle stranezze dello sziget, tra persone travestite e bar a 50 metri di altezza, non ho mai smesso di fare foto!

Today I will tell to my experience at the Sziget festival in Budapest.
For those unaware of what it is, the Sziget Festival is a music festival which takes place on Obudai – sziget ("Old Buda Island "). The island is located in the middle of the Danube.
At least once in life you have to go there , it is truly an experience not to be missed!
In five days of the festival (being around 60 music stages!) you have the opportunity to listen dozens and dozens of bands. We have had the opportunity to see the Prodigy, 30 seconds to mars, Empire of the sun, chemical brothers, good charlotte, Skunk anansie, goran bregovic, gogol bordello, judas priest, two many djs, Trentemoller, verdena, the roux and many others who I don't remember anymore!
Sziget Festival is not only live music but also DJ sets , theater, film – screenings , dance , circus and street entertainers and sporting events. It is the only event of its kind, where you can breathe an area of freedom that I have not breathe in anyone festivals .
Here are some of the oddities of sziget, including people dressed and bar at 50 metres tall, I never stopped to take pictures!
