Artelier: l’intervista esclusiva a Cristina Ramella

La prima volta che ho visto i gioielli "Artelier" sono stata letteralmente rapita dal loro design, minimale ed elegante, percependo che dietro ad ogni meravigliosa creazione c'era molto di più che un semplice fashion brand.

Grazie all'intervista a Cristina Ramella, fondatrice e designer, ho capito il perchè "Artelier" mi aveva totalmente conquistata.

Ogni gioiello è frutto della dedizione che Cristina mette nel suo lavoro, lasciando che ogni creazione comunichi al mondo della moda, la sua passione per l'arte e per il design.

A mio avviso, i gioielli di "Artelier", sono indipendenti delle tendenze del momento, attuali oggi come sicuramente tra 10 anni, adatti ad essere abbinati con qualsiasi outfit. Sono la risposta per una donna che vede la moda come espressione del proprio stile, lasciando che il gioiello possa interpretare la sua personalità, sia che indossi un abito elegante quanto un paio di jeans.

L'intervista a Cristina Ramella

Il nome "Artelier" da cosa deriva?

Artelier e' la combinazione delle parole ART e ATELIER, un luogo virtuale dove si coniugano la passione e la conoscenza per l'arte, l'architettura e il buon design, il luogo dove le cose nascono, si creano, si modellano, con la antiche conoscenze dell'arte orafabra e le nuove tecnologie della stampa a cera persa.

Chi è la “donna Artelier”?

E' una donna senza età che ama il lusso e il buon gusto combinato (non sempre di facile combinazione). Una donna che vuole fare un "statement", dire qualcosa attraverso le sue scelte nella moda e non solo abbellirsi. E' una donna forte, con gusti precisi, un'appassionata viaggiatrice e sognatrice, padrona della sua vita e del suo destino.

Quando è nata la tua passione per la moda?

Non sono una appassionata della moda e la mia vita lo dimostra: vivo in Messico, lontano dai riflettori, in una realtà protetta dove ho creato una familia e dove sono realmente felice. Certo, amo la moda, ma come qualsiasi donna e non lascio che mi definisca. Mi sento alla moda e bellissima anche in jeans e tennis. Per me i gioielli sono una espressione d'arte piu' che di moda. Ma mi rende estremamente felice che la moda li abbia capiti.

Quali sono i designer che più hanno influenzato la tua carriera?

Ammiro da sempre il buon design Italiano, non posso farci nulla. Marchi come Missoni, Etro, Armani sono da sempre al top della mia wishlist, anche se amo scoprire nuovi e sconosciuti designers. Mi ispirarano più le storie dietro ad un brand che non necessariamente le singole collezioni

Ci puoi dare qualche anticipazione sulla tua nuova collezione?

Per il 2015 stiamo lavorando sulla City Collection, una evoluzione ambiziosa della world collection. Tecnologie e precisione aumenteranno moltissimo, e i nostri affezionati clienti immagino saranno contenti di poter collezionare nei loro gioielli le città del mondo che hanno contribuito a creare la loro unica storia di vita.

The first time I saw the jewels by "Artelier" I was literally kidnapped from their design , minimal and elegant, feeling that behind those wonderful creations there was much more than just a fashion brand .

Thank interview to Cristina Ramella , founder and designer , I understand why " Artelier "  totally conquered me.

Each jewel is the result of the dedication that Cristina puts into her work, letting each creations communicate to the fashion world, her passion for art and design .

In my opinion, the jewelry of "Artelier" are independent of the trends of the moment,  current today as between 10 years, suitable to be paired with any outfit. They are the answer for a woman who sees fashion as an expression of her style, letting the jewel can interpret her personality , whether you're wearing an elegant dress or a pair of jeans.

The name "Artelier", why?

Artelier is the combination of words  ART and ATELIER, a virtual place where you combine the passion and knowledge for ar , architecture and good design , the place where things are born, they are created, shape , with the ancient knowledge of the art and new technologies of lost wax print .

Who is the "woman Artelier"?

She is an ageless woman who loves luxury and good taste combined (not always easy combination ). A woman who wants to make a "statement", say something through her ​​choices in fashion and not only beautify. It's a strong woman, with specific tastes  a passionate traveler and dreamer, she loves her life and her destiny.

When did your passion for fashion start?

I'm not a passionate in fashion and my life proves it: I live in Mexico, away from the spotlight, in a reality where I created a protected familia and where we are really happy . Sure, I love fashion, but like any woman and I don't let that define me. I feel fashionable and beautiful in jeans and tennis. For me, jewelry is an expression of art more than ' fashion. But it makes me extremely happy that fashion has understood them.

What are the designers who have most influenced your career? 

I admire Italian design has always been good, I can't help it. Brands like Missoni, Etro, Armani have always been at the top of my wishlist, even though I love to discover new and unknown designers. Inspire me more stories behind a brand and not the individual collections.

Can you give us some anticipation about your new collection? 

For 2015 we are working on the "City Collection", an ambitious evolution of the world collection. Technologies and accuracy will increase a lot, and I guess our loyal customers will be happy to collect jewels about the city in the world that have helped create their unique life story.
