Il Natale è alle porte e riesco già a percepirne l’atmosfera.

La voglia di incontrare vecchi amici, le tavole imbandite, i pranzi allegri con i parenti, le sorprese, gli imprevisti….fanno tutti parte di quei giorni che si aspettano tutto l’anno.

La cosa che più amo del Natale è la voglia di stare insieme, il calore dell’amore che riempie le case e che le fa vivere sotto una nuova luce.

Io amo decorare il salotto, per renderlo unico e capace di accogliere i miei ospiti e farli vivere in quella atmosfera che solo il natale sa regalare.

Le candele di Natale Pernici, ogni anno sono mie complici, autrici e testimoni dei giorni più belli dell’anno.

La lunga storia aziendale (la cereria nasce nel 1982) e l’utilizzo di ingredienti di altissima qualità, rendono le candele firmate Pernici, delle piccole opere d’arte.

Per questo Natale ho scelto le candele Pernici rivestite con foglio di cera metallizzato e stampato manualmente, tecnica realizzata esclusivamente dalla Cereria Pernici dal 1963, così da rendere ogni candela unica ed inimitabile.

Missing just over a month at Christmas and I can already perceive the atmosphere.

The desire to meet old friends, dinner tables, happy lunches  with relatives, the surprises, the unexpected …. are all part of Christmas days.

The thing that I love about Christmas is the desire to be together, the warmth of love that fills the house and that makes life in a new light.

I love to decorate the living room, to make it unique and able to welcome my guests and make them live in that atmosphere that only Christmas can give.

The Christmas candles by Pernici, every year are my accomplices, witnesses and perpetrators of the best days of the year.

The long history of the company (the candle factory was founded in 1982) and using the highest quality ingredients, make the Pernici’s candles, small works of art.

This Christmas, I chose the candles coated with wax sheet metal and molded by hand, a technique made exclusively by Pernici since 1963, so as to make each candle unique and inimitable.

Che il web sia la nuova frontiera della comunicazione è oramai un dato di fatto.

Che l'arte, poi, si sia appropriata di questo nuovo mezzo, era inevitabile.

In linea con questo nuovo trend è il Roma Web Fest, primo festival ufficiale Italiano delle web series, che si terrà dal 26 al 28 settembre 2014, al MAXXI di Roma.

Io non vedo l'ora di parteciparvi, soprattutto perchè, quest'anno hanno dedicato una sezione ai "Fashion Film", assegnado due premi speciali di moda: il miglior Fashion Film e il miglior Young fashion Film.

Qua trovate tutti i Fashion Film in concorso e vi assicuro che tutti quanti trasmettono delle grandi emozioni: non perdeteveli!

Se poi avete la passione per il cinema e volete partecipare, affrettatevi che il bando scade il 25 Agosto!

Immagino che a qualcuno di voi creerà dei dubbi vedere la sirenetta con la maglietta di Marilyn Manson, Lilli che fa i propri bisogni o addirittura Biancaneve ubriaca!!

A me, fin da subito, hanno suscitato una gran simpatia e mi hanno fatto sentire questi personaggi, così legati alla mia infanzia, ancora più vicini.

Le opere di questa collezione sono numerosissime, qua ne trovate solo alcune, le mie preferite.

I guess some of you will have some doubts seeing the "little mermaid" with a Marilyn Manson shirt, Lilli makes their own needs or even Snow White drunk! 

To me, from the outset, have attracted a great liking and they made me feel these people, so tied to my childhood, even closer.

Guardando le fotografie di Ellen Von Unwerth, è impossibile non pensare che la Fotografia non sia una vera e propria arte.

Atmosfere surreali (quasi grottesche), spesso con riferimenti a scene di vita reale, colori rarefatti e donne bellissime: questi sono i marchi di fabbrica di questa fantastica artista.

Nata a Francoforte sul Meno nel 1954, Ellen inizia la sua carriera nel mondo della moda come Modella. 

Oggi collabora con le maggiori riviste specialiste del settore, oltre a numerosissimi fashion brand. Nel 1991 ha vinto il primo premio al festiva linternazionale della fotografia di moda.

Looking at the pictures of Ellen Von Unwerth, it is impossible think that Photography isn’t a real art. 

Surreal atmospheres (almost grotesque), often with references to the real-life, rarefied  colors and beautiful women: these are the trademarks of this great artist. 

Born in Frankfurt in 1954, Ellen began her career in the fashion world, as a Model. 

She now works with more specialized magazines in the industry, as well as many fashion brand. In 1991 she won the first prize at the international fashion photography festival

questo post nasce per rispondere a tante ragazze che spesso mi chiedono come poter creare un look rock.

A mio avviso, per essere rock e creare un outfit d’effetto, non servono ne borchie ne oggetti in pelle, ma bisogna sentirsi “rock” dentro!

Per me, un vero look rock, è quello di Gwen Stefani nel video della bellissima canzone “Don’t speak”. Nonostante portasse un vestitino a pois che se me lo metto potrei sembrare mia nonna, a lei sta così bene da incarnare per il vero spirito rock.

this post was created to answer to many girls who often ask me how create a rock look. 

In my opinion, to be rock and create an amazing outfit, we do not need to wear studs or leather items, but you have to be “rock” inside! 

For me, a real rock look is the one of Gwen Stefani in the video of the beautiful song “Don’t speak.” Despite she wore a pois dress (If a wear it I can look my grandmother!), she embody the true spirit of rock.

Oggi vi presentiamo uno dei fotografi di moda più in voga del momento, Steven Meisel.
Statunitense, nato a New York nel 1954 ha ottenuto fama e successo per i suoi servizi fotografici e copertine per Vogue USA, Vogue Italia e L’Uomo Vogue e per aver fotografato Madonna nel 1992 nel libro Sex.

Già da giovane il suo interesse per la fotografia era forte. Da piccolo, Meisel disegnava in continuazione, non voleva giocare, ma soltanto disegnare figure femminili.
Sfogliava riviste di moda come Vogue e Harper’s Bazaar, traendone ispirazione per i propri disegni.
Da ragazzo era ossessionato da modelle quali Twiggy, Veruschka, e Jean Shrimpton. A 12 anni era solito far chiamare da amiche le agenzie di modelle di New York per ottenere foto delle modelle più celebri.

Ha studiato alla High School of Art and Design e alla Parsons School of Design, dove ha seguito vari corsi ma poi scelse la carriera di illustratore di moda eccellendo in questo campo.

Tra i suoi ultimi lavori spicca la campagna Spring-summer 2014 di Louis Vuitton e Prada.

Today, we present, one of the best fashion photographers of all the time, Steven Meisel.
American, born in New York in 1954, he obtained fame and success for his photo shoots and covers for U.S. Vogue , Italian Vogue and L’Uomo Vogue and for having photographed Madonna in 1992 in the book “Sex”.

As a young man, his interest in photography was strong. As a child , Meisel, was drawing all the time, did not want to play, but only to draw female figures.
Flipped through fashion magazines such as Vogue and Harper ‘s Bazaar, drawing inspiration for their own designs .
As a boy he was obsessed with models such as Twiggy , Veruschka , and Jean Shrimpton . At 12 years old he used to call friends from the modeling agencies in New York to get photos of the most famous models .

He studied at the High School of Art and Design and at Parsons School of Design, where he followed various courses but then chose a career as a fashion illustrator, excelling in this field.

Among his last works, we find  Louis Vuitton and Prada Spring -summer 2014 campaign.

One of the artistic trends of the moment, is definitely, the street art.

But in the end, what is it?

Wikipidia writes: "Street art or urban art is the name given by the means of mass communication to those art forms that occur in public places, often illegally, in different techniques: spray, sticker art, stencils, videos, sculptures, etc. "

Street art and "graffiti" are not the same thing and should not be confused. Who designs in authorized places, should not be confused with those who make illegal written to the walls.

We have been in two city where the street art is a cult: Reykjavik (Iceland) and Zurich (Switzerland).

Looking at those gigantic walls, completely painted, we realized that the street artist is an artist with the capital "A".

The precision of the lines, the brilliance color and the originality of the subject, made us go crazy!

Una delle correnti artistiche più contemporanee del momento è sicuramente la street art.

Ma, in fin dei conti, cos'è?

Wikipidia scrive: "Arte di strada o arte urbana (in inglese street art) è il nome dato dai mezzi di comunicazione di massa a quelle forme di arte che si manifestino in luoghi pubblici, spesso illegalmente, nelle tecniche più disparate: spray, sticker art, stencil, proiezioni video, sculture ecc"

Street art e graffiti, non sono la stessa cosa e non vanno confusi. Chi disegna per strada in luoghi autorizzati, non va confuso con chi fa delle semplici scritte illegali, per imbrattare dei muri.

Noi siamo stati in due luoghi culto per tale forma d'arte: Reykjavik (in Islanda)e Zurigo (in svizzera).

Guardando quelle pareti gigantesche, totalmente dipinte, abbiamo capito che l'artista di strada è un Artista con la "A" maiuscola.

La precisione dei tratti, la brillantezza dei colori e l'originalità dei soggetti, ci hanno totalmente fatto impazzire!

Last week we went to browse through the exhibition halls of the 55th Biennale of Art in Venice, returning from this experience with a big question: contemporary art, often more conceptual than visual, it can be called art?

From mere spectators, finding ourselves in front of artistic products that seem more compositions of design (such as the hanging chairs by Bill Culbert) or maybe dirt roads (such as playback developed by Massimo Bartolini), to this question we have not answered.

We remain with our doubts and we show you what we liked most, leaving the comments to the art critics

La scorsa settimana siamo andati a curiosare tra i padiglioni della 55^ esposizione Biennale d’arte di Venezia, tornando da questa esperienza con un grande interrogativo: l’arte contemporanea, spesso più concettuale che visiva, può essere chiamata arte?

Da semplici spettatori, ritrovandoci di fronte a prodotti artistici che sembrano più composizioni di design (come le sedie appese di Bill Culbert) o magari strade sterrate (come la riproduzione elaborata da  Massimo Bartolini), a tale domanda non abbiamo trovato risposta.

Vi mostriamo quello che ci è piaciuto di più, lasciando ai critici i commenti positivi o negativi sul valore delle opere.
